ABOUT FLAG RUGBY
Rugby is an Olympic sport (watch the USA Men and Women this summer in Paris- they’re world class).
Flag rugby is the non contact version of the game where every kid gets to run, catch, pass, tag, evade and score.
Don't worry if you don't know a thing about rugby, all you need to know is that once kids try it, they love it!
Think of it as a more flowing version of flag football with crazy laterals.
ABOUT THE COACH
We're lucky to have former international USA Rugby player Mark Griffin live in Erie.
Originally from the UK, Mark founded the prestigious Play Rugby USA charity in Brooklyn, for which he was honored with an MBE by Queen Elizabeth.
Mark will be heading up the program, and is looking for parent volunteers - no rugby experience required! Email mark@rugbyerie.com
